Happy November! To follow up on the “big” utility project mentioned in the previous newsletter, the project is Serenade and is located on the west side of Ditch Road and runs between 156th & 161st Street in Westfield, IN. The goal with Serenade is to get as much dirt moved this fall as Mother Nature will allow. Topsoil is currently being stripped. Approval on the utilities should be in the next month or two, which will put Valenti-Held starting utilities the first of the year; the hope is to pave as early as possible in the spring of 2019. Serenade – Westfield, IN +237,000CY’s of earthwork +158 Utility days – 7,880’ of sanitary sewer, 4,628’ of sanitary sewer laterals, 11,498’ of storm sewer and 11,122’ of 8-12” water main. We continue to be amazed at the amount of projects we have coming in to bid – we cannot bid them all, but we will try to snag some projects yet this year to start in the spring of 2019.
